چکیده
This research presents new insights into the utilisation of waste glass powder in concrete pavements. Two different types were used as a partial replacement for sand: 10% neat (untreated) and silane-treated powder. The interfacial bonding properties, physical mechanical properties pavement assessed at 7 28 days. Results exposed reduction 5% 2% compressive flexural strengths, respectively, an increase 15% water absorption after addition to days curing. is due weak between cementitious matrix. However, incorporation silane-coated led strengths by more than 22% 28%, reduced 8%, coupling functionality silane. After curing, strength increased powder, respectively. In addition, dropped 7%

Inhibitory Effect of Waste Glass Powder on ASR Expansion Induced by Waste Glass Aggregate
Detailed research is carried out to ascertain the inhibitory effect of waste glass powder (WGP) on alkali-silica reaction (ASR) expansion induced by waste glass aggregate in this paper. The alkali reactivity of waste glass aggregate is examined by two methods in accordance with the China Test Code SL352-2006. The potential of WGP to control the ASR expansion is determined in terms of mean diame...
متن کاملEvaluation of Coal Waste Ash and Rice Husk Ash on Properties of Pervious Concrete Pavement
The use of pervious concrete has been significantly considered in recent years. This consideration is due to the properties of pervious concrete in relating to the environmental sustainability that is utilized in the effective management of the runoff from rainfall. Coal extraction and rice husk obtained from milling, produces wastes that have no application and followed by environmental pollut...
متن کاملControlling Fresh Properties of Self-Compacting Concrete Containing Waste Glass Powder and its Influence on Strength and Permeability
Adjustment of superplasticizer (SP) dosage is one of the main factors in proportioning of self-compacting concrete (SCC) mixtures. The quantity of SP has to be within certain limits to avoid segregation or bleeding, which otherwise could alter the microstructure of concrete and affect its performance in the longer-term. Since SCC is produced with high cement content, some issues, such as high c...

متن کاملMeasuring and Analyzing Pavement Texture Concrete Pavement Surface Characteristics Program
Introduction Pavement texture is defined by the irregularities on a pavement surface that deviate from an ideal, perfectly flat surface. As shown in Figure 1, the World Road Association (PIARC) has established standard categories of texture, classified by wavelength. These categories include microtexture (wavelengths up to 0.5 mm), macrotexture (0.5 to 50 mm), megatexture (50 to 500 mm), and ro...
